DigitalCanal

Digital Canal

Digital Canal is a new concept on the web. Using a mixture of Google satellite mapping, our archive and photographs of the canal taken by volunteers this is a way of exploring the canal and comparing it to the past. 2010 is a good time to do this as  the canal is 200 years old. We intend to update the site regularly and add access information so that you can see if you can get to the real thing and have a look.

The project was funded by MLA Renaissance East Midlands as part of the MuBu project.

The project is live at http://www.fipt.org.uk/digitalcanal/ please take a look, any comments would be welcome and you can leave feedback about the content on the site. Visit our blog at  http://foxton-locks.blogspot.co.uk/.
